L’Europe Unie / United Europe is an international academic journal dedicated to European Studies. It publishes original research in history, security studies, economics, politics, culture, and the social sciences, welcoming interdisciplinary perspectives on the European Union. The journal also explores contemporary developments in European institutions and European Union law.

L'Europe Unie/ United Europe is a valuable outcome of the Jean Monnet Action.

L’Europe Unie / United Europe was founded in 2007 by two Jean Monnet Professors, Michel Labori, PhD (France), and Simion Costea, PhD (Romania), with the support of fellow Jean Monnet Professors from across the European Union who joined its Scientific and Editorial Boards.
The journal was established within the framework of the Jean Monnet project European Union: History, Policies, and Opportunities for Active European Citizenship (EU Interdisciplinary Studies). The project brought together academic expertise and financial resources to launch the journal and support its development as a forum for interdisciplinary research in European Studies.
The journal’s subsequent development was supported by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Security and Combating Disinformation in Multicultural Societies, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mihaela Daciana Natea.
