Aims & Scope
L'Europe Unie / United Europe is an international journal to issue studies and articles with scientific value in the area of European Studies, with interest in fields such as: history, security studies, economics, politics, culture, social studies or multidisciplinary studies within the European Union. Also covers up-to-date topics concerning European institutions and European Law.
L'Europe Unie / United Europe is a valuable outcome of the Jean Monnet Action. The Journal was founded back in 2007 by two Jean Monnet Professors: the venerable Michel Labori, PhD (France) and Simion Costea, PhD, (Romania), including several other Jean Monnet Professors from different EU countries as members of the scientific and editorial board. The Jean Monnet Project European Union: History, Policies, and Opportunities for Active European Citizenship (EU Interdisciplinary Studies) concentrated financial and human resources to create L'Europe Unie/ United Europe and lead it to academic acknowledgement.

The journal’s regular publication frequency is annual.

L’Europe Unie / United Europe undertakes to publish one complete volume in each calendar year. The journal is not committed to publishing two volumes per year. Where scientific and editorial circumstances permit, an additional thematic or special volume may exceptionally be published. Such supplementary publication does not alter the journal’s regular annual frequency.
